Our Story
Since 1994, Doberman Rescue of North Texas (DRNT) has been dedicated to rescuing unwanted and abandoned Doberman Pinschers. Operating as a non-profit 501(c)3, DRNT provides comprehensive medical care, socialization, and training to ensure each dog is healthy and ready for their forever home.
We pride ourselves on our compassionate approach, personalizing adoption and fostering experiences to match each Doberman’s unique personality with a loving family. Driven entirely by volunteers, we are all committed to saving Dobie lives!

Our Mission to Save Dobermans
We began our journey with a small group of passionate individuals, determined to find homes for a breed of dog that is often overlooked. Many Doberman Pinschers suffer from “black dog syndrome” and do not fare well in a traditional shelter setting.
Over the years, we have expanded our efforts significantly, now operating a dedicated facility in Grand Prairie, Texas, which provides extensive dog care and housing. We are proud to facilitate countless successful adoptions every single year.
