1. Fill out an application.
2. Go through a screening interview.  Note: This may take place while you are visiting Doberhof during Open House.
3. Wait while we do a home, vet, and reference check.  Note:  If you fill in an on-line application by Wednesday evening at the latest, we can often have our checks completed before you come out to Open House the following Sunday.  Even though we may not have completed our checks by the time you come out to Sunday Open House, you should come anyway so you can select a dog.  This will allow you to come pick him up as soon as our checks are complete.
4. Select a dog.
5. Complete our adoption contract.
6. Make an adoption donation.
7. Take your new dog home.
