Dallas - Athens Flight

We've been watching these flights closely.  It looks like there are three competitive options.  Often the cheapest is to go connect through Madrid on Iberian.  The other choices are (1)Dallas-Chicago-Brussels Athens on Belgian of (2) Dallas - Heathrow - Athens using American or British for the transatlantic leg and British for the rest. The downside of returning through London or Brussels is that you cannot get back all on one day. Since we leave Chalki on Sunday, June 21, we could get to London or Brussels on Sunday evening, spend the night, and then fly out on Monday. So if those flights get to be cheaper than the Madrid connection, we will shift plans a little.

Not everyone will be flying back to Dallas.  Caroline and Louize will be headed either to France or England. Gary is probably going to France. If you want to return on via another route, go for it.  We can help you with ideas and suggestions.  If, for example, you want to stop in Madrid, expect to add about $200 to your air fare.

Julie and Bruce are planning to use Advantage miles for their tickets.  Miles will work for all three options however we have been warned that the seats go very quickly, so as soon as the June 5 outbound flight is available we need to book. If you are planning to use miles, coordinate with Bruce.
